Duke Robotics Club: RoboSub
Project Info
As an undergraduate, I was a member of the Mechanical Engineering sub-team. Our team created two robots, Oogway and Crush. Oogway is a full size ROV; we inherited the bare bones design in my freshman year from the prior year's club. We spent three years designing, building, programming, and iterating Oogway before beginning the design of a miniature submarine, Crush. During my four years, I gained valuable CAD, fabrication, design, and communication skills; as a graduate student, I serve in an advisory role to the Mechanical sub-team.
